Listing Guidelines
Last updated: April 10, 2026MyPetLingo is India’s trusted pet services directory. To maintain the quality and trustworthiness of our platform, all listings must follow these guidelines. Listings that do not comply may be edited, suspended, or removed.
Who Can List on MyPetLingo?
MyPetLingo is open to any legitimate pet service business operating in India, including:
- Veterinary clinics and hospitals
- Pet grooming salons and mobile groomers
- Pet boarding facilities and kennels
- Pet trainers and behaviourists
- Pet stores and supply shops
- Wellness and holistic pet care providers
- Pet sitters, dog walkers, and home care providers
Listing Content Guidelines
✅ Do
- Use your real business name
- Provide accurate contact details
- Upload clear, genuine photos of your business
- Write an honest description of your services
- Keep your listing information up to date
- List only services you actually offer
- Specify your correct location and service area
❌ Don’t
- Use misleading or exaggerated claims
- Upload stock photos or fake images
- List fake reviews or testimonials
- Include competitor business names in your listing
- Create duplicate listings for the same business
- Include pricing that is misleading or inaccurate
- List services in locations where you don’t operate
Photo Guidelines
Photos make your listing stand out. Please follow these guidelines:
- Upload real photos of your business, team, or pets you’ve cared for
- Photos should be clear, well-lit, and in focus
- Avoid heavily filtered or digitally altered images
- Do not use photos you do not own or have rights to use
- Do not include phone numbers, website URLs, or watermarks in photos
- Minimum recommended resolution: 800 x 600 pixels
Verification Badge
Listings with a Verified badge have been reviewed and confirmed by our team. To be considered for verification, your listing should have:
- Complete and accurate business information
- A working phone number and email address
- At least one real photo of your business
- A detailed description of your services
Verification is at the sole discretion of MyPetLingo and may be revoked if guidelines are violated.
Prohibited Listings
The following types of listings are strictly prohibited and will be removed immediately:
- Sale of wildlife, exotic animals, or species protected under Indian law
- Any business involved in animal cruelty or illegal activities
- Fraudulent or scam businesses
- Businesses operating without required licences (where applicable)
- Adult content of any kind
Reporting a Listing
If you come across a listing that you believe violates our guidelines or is fraudulent, please report it to us immediately. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
Moderation and Removal
All listings are subject to review. MyPetLingo reserves the right to edit, suspend, or permanently remove any listing that violates these guidelines, without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in permanent account suspension.
